My Disney favourites

Favourite Disney character

☂️ Mary Poppins — she holds a very special place in my heart. I love her music, but also the imagination and sense of adventure that are part of her story. She reminds me that with a little magic and imagination, anything is possible.

Favourite Disney park

🦒 Disney's Animal Kingdom — I love its unique atmosphere. Kilimanjaro Safaris makes me feel like I'm heading off on an adventure in Africa without ever leaving Disney.

Favourite Disney experience

🎃 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party — I love the atmosphere, the costumes and, of course, the Boo to You! parade. There's something magical about seeing the park come alive for Halloween.

Favourite classic attraction

🎠 Prince Charming Regal Carrousel — there's something special about riding a classic carrousel at Disney. It brings out the kid in me.

Attraction that scares me the most

👻 The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror — I love Disney, but I won't pretend I love everything Disney does to get my adrenaline going! Tower of Terror is definitely where I draw the line.

Favourite Disney movie

🎬 Mary Poppins — I grew up with this movie and I still know every word!

Favourite Pixar movie

👁️ Monsters, Inc. — I love the humour, the characters, and the idea of a world that exists just beyond our imagination.

Favourite Disney princess

💙 Jasmine — during my daughter's first trip to Disney, when she was only three and very scared of the characters, Jasmine took the time to sit down and talk with her, even with a line of people waiting. It's one of my most treasured Disney memories.

Favourite Disney villain

🪞 The Evil Queen from Snow White — there's something about Disney's very first great villain that still fascinates me. She's dramatic, unforgettable… and just terrifying enough!

Favourite Disney restaurant

🏰 The Crystal Palace — it's where I get to meet Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet, characters tied to another set of childhood memories for me.

I didn't grow up going to Disney. I was 30 when I took my first trip to Walt Disney World — and the moment I walked through the gates, I became that little girl again, the one who watched The Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night on CBC.

Since then, Disney has held a very special place in my heart. I love how Disney can bring out the imagination and the child in all of us, no matter our age. It's a place where the imaginary becomes real, where you can marvel, dream and simply believe in the magic.

I do believe, though, that I've always had a taste for travel. My mother passed on her love of discovery and the world to me early on. She first arrived in Canada at age 9, from Scotland, before settling there permanently in the 1960s. She also worked as a hostess aboard the Thorshope, sailing for several years between Durban, South Africa, and Montreal. Her stories and adventures fed my imagination and passed on that same desire to go discover the world.

An avid and fully bilingual traveler, I've explored Australia, New Zealand and Europe, as well as cruised throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean. These experiences, across different styles of travel, have taught me what makes the difference between a simple trip and a truly memorable experience.

Whether it's rediscovering the magic of Disney, taking a family cruise, or exploring Europe, I love helping my clients bring their dream trip to life — an extraordinary trip doesn't have to be extravagant to be memorable.
